Engine valve
Intake and exhaust valves are installed at the intake and exhaust ports of an engine’s combustion chamber. The intake valve controls the flow of the fuel/air mixture into the combustion chamber. The exhaust valve controls the outflow of the hot gases from the combustion chamber. These valves do important work in an extremely hot and challenging environment and so they must have great strength,as well as wear-, corrosion-, and oxidation-resistance.
